Yeah, I thought oldwrench was the oldest too. I mean, he's a grandfather.badmartialarts wrote:Pretty sure oldwrench is in his mid 60s. But ya, I go to Anime North regularly, and realise there are "some" people my age hehe.
Anything under 30 though, seems like a kid to me (no offense).
do we have a new contender for oldest on the org?
Vlad is as old as they get i think
though its much more fun to call godix old...
If you could take back all the time you spent editing

I have a lot of other hobbies that I like to do, and those have gotten backed up by a fair amount. By trying to make amvs I only pushed those farther back, and added more things to the list. Granted, I've never spent more than a month on a video; I prefer to plan and edit continuously until the project's finished. It's not like they're masterpieces either; I know one brought torture to a few souls. So yeah, there are a lot of things I could have been doing instead of trying to edit.
However, I don't regret it. If it wasn't fun, or I didn't enjoy it, I just wouldn't do it =/ It's something I wanted to do, and by finishing the amvs, I fulfilled my visions and dreams quite successfully. After all, I have to put my names on these, and it's a lot harder to stand by something even you aren't proud of. Even if it wasn't the best decision, I'm glad I went through with it.

Same for me...Kevmasterflashdeluxe wrote:I don't want to have any sexual Contact in my teen years anyways. (Yeap, I count kissing as sexual contact) and this is something I stand for. Some may say thats pathetic, but thats how I feel and live.lestheanimesarge wrote:General rule of thumb, if you spend more than 2 hours a day on ANYthing, each and every day, and it prevents you experiencing life in your teens (otherwise known as making your parents think you are ruining some teen girls life), chances are you are making a potential mistake.
I went through my teen years, and never once even so much as kissed a girl. And I gotta tell you, I think I screwed up hehe.
I know its off-topic but I felt like saying this =|

I'd be happy to not be the oldest
I hate always being the old guy in most things I do.
I'm the oldest in my rolegaming group.
I'm the oldest of my anime friends.
Hmm I haven't had a wargaming buddy in some time.
None of my friends were around when comics were 5 cents.
I watched the moon landing live by the way. Was just a kid at the time though.
I was around the year of the Bay of Pigs incident (but I was a new arrival that year hehe).
So why does an old bugger like me enjoy anime? Hmm if you had lived through the Cold War you'd appreciate watching something silly, funny, and escapist too.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.
