VirtualDub + HuffyUV = ACRASHA!

I use smartripper to copy the vob files to my hard drive(a second hard drive). Then I use DVD2AVI with HUFFYUV to export the clips I want to the hard drive(usually on the main hard drive for all my AMV creating).

If I'm not mistaken 4 episodes encoded with huffyuv at 640x480 and in YUY2 mode would be about 34 gb.
Huffyuv isn't much in the way of compression, at best it will give 1/4th the size of uncompressed RGB video (think 24 640x480 24 bit bitmaps a second, that = uncompressed rgb) but its lossless and there is no chance of any type of compression artifact (except the theoretical loss from converting YUY2 to YUY2 several times, but youd have to re encode it probably more than 100 times to visually see any difference)

And yea, if you have win9x then the FAT32 filesystem is holding you down. Can't do much about this except get winXP :\
