Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It totally seemed like a naruto rip-off of this video...
It had many similar effects and the same ways of synching for the most part! it was strangely similar..
It was still pretty good, even though I liked the other one better, this was average. 3/5

Oh and:

So far im not enjoying the org too much
I don't understand why anyone would prefer hearing "awsm 5/5" and "best amv ever 6/5" on youtube, rather than useful criticism that can make him better..
Don't take the criticism like it is insulting your skills : it is actually an attempt to make you better.
You should thank people that waste time trying to find all the bad points of your video, so you won't repeat them in the future, and don't have a very big idea of yourself, because you are far from some of the awesome editors here

once again I say : Bullshit ;) the same Video will always look better in avi and even better in h264 than in wmv and mpeg encoded on the same bitrate.
Oh really. What if said AVI uses Intel Indeo, or MS WMV9, or MS RLE, or MJPEG, or who knows what else for the video stream?
CrackTheSky wrote:Bad VIDEO quality != bad editing. And the editing should be more important anyway..
Fixed, dammit.

PSA: When you say a video was of "bad quality", you mean the video was a poor video. "Quality" is not synonymous with "image quality".

I don't think there is anything wrong with a Naruto video. However, posting it here will have negative effects, as you know. So, if you want, Utube it and leave it at that. There's no point in getting your video all torn up by people here if you already know they don't like the source material. That or don't advertise and just upload it.

"sorry i didnt listen to your advice,"

In the end you make what you want to make and if people don't like it, so be it. When you start making videos just to please others..then you gotta draw the line.

You can put it on the site without making an announcement post if ya don't want to, ya know. Those who are interested will be able to watch it and it will also make it easier to distribute to friends. 8-)

I donno what your video looks like, but I'ma soapbox on your thread for a min.

the org was specifically meant to catalog every anime music video ever made... (that includes over used sources, and good or bad... not just the good ones or the unique ones)

youtube was meant for silly HOME MOVIES, not AMVs - so who ever is telling you to only upload to the tube really needs to take their foot out of their face (I'm too lazy to go back and see who that was)

also from what I know people like Crackthesky don't just blurt out "mean things" just so that they can "be mean"... read his crit, and try to understand what he is saying, and why he is saying it. Yea your video might have a few flaws, but thats why you work harder on the next video to improve. Crackers is the type of person who is usually helping people on this board.

if you get negative feedback thats just part of life and just about any hobby you get into. you can do a few things with it when you do get it:

1. get all emo about it and lash out at people
2. read it and choose weather or not you agree with it
and choose to take it into consideration or ignore it.

(which one sounds like the more sensible choice?)

either way get used to it? the top editors on this site get negative feed back all the time, and you don't see them saying that they aren't going to upload their next vid (or even list it) but then again thats one of the reasons that they are the top editors on this site. They know how to handle it.

and finally: don't ever put "pwnsome" in your thread title unless you want to invite people to challenge your awsumness :/
