Audio manipulation...?

Post by Rave_Epic » Sun Sep 09, 2007 12:48 pm

Hey, guys. I got a question since I'm not very familiar with audio-editing.

How would you go about taking the original audio of someone speaking and make it sound like that person was talking through an answering machine?

Example:

Original: baka-shinji!
Video shows an answering machine
Beeeeep: baka-shinji!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. ;) I hope this makes sense and I hope I described that clearly. Haha.

.. most audio editors have an Equalizer built-in to them. simply make all the settings -12 or -24 depending on the editor except for the frequency ranges of 300hz to 3,000 hz which would be at +9 or + 18 again depending on your editor. Then just click on "apply" "save was" and your done 8-)
