Had the same problem, but now it's OK.Turbo wrote:I couldn't download it. What happened with kero server? Is there any other link to this video?
The video seemed more like an action for me o_O. Anyway it was pure win. Athough a little big (I mean the filesize) the quality is absolutely perfect. The sync is tight and on-spot. The effects blended awesomely with the video. The lenght was... well I wish it was a little longer, but maybe the effect wouldn't have been the same You can't do better for 24hrs Awsm vid!
5/5

It's a good video but its not godsend people. I honestly have some problems with some of the static mask shapes and the coloring around the edges and all. The section where the 2 masks rotate a 180 horizontal seems too clean as well. I would have loved to see some more layering in there bringing forth the 2.5D aspect of it all more. I mean you did all the panning and scanning with the other sections. And then there is that section which screams for it, and you just dropped the ball.
I would have loved to see you do something more experimental with this video as well. I mean I've seen allot of the stuff 99.99% of the people on these boards haven't seen. And it all pretty much comes down to this same style. So next time try going for something clean stylish or fully integrated. Because I know you can do it but its like you try to restrict yourself to this grudge style all the time.
Send me some of those cocaine leaves btw. I have yet to try that =O

Okay. Not really my cup of tea, but quite nice considering you did it in that short time. Well you use too many scenes at the same time, just like Alex likes to. If that's your style it is okay, but I don't really like it. The effects were nicely done, nothing to complain here. However in the later part of the video (starting when the girl is shown you used for the banner) there could have been more sync.
I wouöd not really call it an astounding video, but it's pretty much okay.
4/5 Yoroshiku!

filesize is big cause of motion, effects and difficult textures ;p
thanks, I like to think I hit my limit for the time given as well
also: I FUCKING LOVE EASTER EGGS!
srsly mitch, while I wanted to get one of the videos released that mostly uses grunge, it definitely will be a main element of my style.
I actually wanted to elaborate the 2.5d thingy much more, but was going against time, so ya.
next stand-alone video is going more into the integrated section, altho still not without grunge.
thanks you still liked it tho ;p
P.S.: don't have anymore of those, they were part of a "loan" I got from helping at the carnival of cultures in berlin
also, thanks ingo
that was loads of thanks...
anyway, thanks once again for all those positive comments
srsly long post...
more focus on relic kthybai alex ;pWarheart wrote:Hm, actually we had more than just one discussion about this video. But I'm glad it turned out to be one of the best videos at Connichi although it's so damn short. Anyway to sum it up, I say this video has awesome sources good editing for a video that was edited in just 3 days, and I'd say that you need to work on something else now.
P.S. Good that you finally have a release that let's people see a glimpse of your capabilities.
