Lagarith and Vista

Okay. I just found out that VfW isn't supported by Vista

. Since a lot of my source video are made with Lagarith, how can I get them to play and use in a video editor?

P.S. I'm using Vista Ultimate x64

Vista supports VfW just fine, but a lot of old installers that rely solely on .inf files won't install properly.

There's a way to install it in vista, but it escapes my memory at the moment. SirLagsALot might get back to you on this later.

Okay I followed the instructions. I turned off UAC and rebooted. I ran command prompt as administrator. And then when I ran rundll32.exe setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 0 "d:\lagarith\lagarith.inf" Vista returned me an error popup saying "Installation failed"
