Video: Origins of a SOLDIER
Category: Dance, Action
Anime: Crisis Core: FFVII & FFVII: AC
Song: Agony
Artist: Kotoko
Creator: sayde

This is the result of another major urge to make a j-pop video to FFVII. But at least most of this footage hasn't been overused yet. FFVII fans enjoy--though I guess it's worth mentioning that if you have any intention of playing Crisis Core: FFVII for the psp, then you *might* want to stay away from this.

Big thanks to Takefuji for making the amv which inspired this one. She had once said "Dance pwns angst." I happen to agree with that.

Oh hell.

I want to watch, really I do D: Especially when I'm mentioned as inspiration. But I don't have my copy of Crisis Core yet and even though I've seen the ending and cried like a little girl I have to resist :3; I'll download, and I'll give you a proper comment/opinion upon my completion of the game <3

Dance is so much more fun than angst, ain't it?

^^It's definitely more fun--both to listen to and to work with imo.

Wow, I liked this one a lot better than your last Video.

Both Flow and Synching were better imo, very enjoyable, too bad the frame size is that small though.

3,8/5

You use cutscenes from a PSP game and shit?.. Fuck that. I know that this'll have some shitty ass quality. so I prolly won't get it.

Edit: Plus AC. and Why did I comment if I'm not gonna DL?.. idk.

The Frame Size is small, but the Quality looks damn good actually. It also only has a Minimum of AC as well, most scenes are CC :/

Oh.. Well in that case I'll get this. I must admit, even though I said what I said, I've been rather curious since seeing yer banner.. Gives me an idea of what this'll be about/like.. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Edit: Indeed, Not bad. The quality was pretty damn good for PSP, and I kinda want dat game now >_>..

/FF junkie

but hmm, Yah.. it was pretty good. Didn't really like the cookie cutter or whatever it was with aerith at the beginning. plus the Quick changing scenes where like.. as far as I could tell none of the scenes used in those had anything to do with anything.. but yah. still a solid vid.

3/5

We'll probably see tons of these kinds of vids now.. cause of all the footage with zack

Thanks for the feedback Kevmasterflashdeluxe, godstriker88, & NerdStrudel.

I couldn't agree w/ you more. But unfortunately, most of the source footage was only 480x272. (Though in hindsight, upscaling it to a higher resolution would've definitely preserved the quality of what little AC footage I did use.)

On another note, I'm relieved to see you state that the flow and synch were better than my previous projects. I guess I've only to thank my source footage and song for being so fun to work with, otherwise, I doubt I would've been able to come through on this end.

I appreciate it.

I'll flat out admit that your correct. Most of the quick changing scenes were put in there just to go with some of the beats in the song and nothing more.

Fortunately, ripping and converting this footage isn't *as* easy compared to something like AC. So that should cut down on the amount of people making CC amv's. Unfortunately, this also means that many of those who do use CC footage are probably going to download and utilize someone elses encoded footage--which means you might have to be prepared for a lot of crappy quality footage.
