Love/Hate (Furuba/3 Days Grace)
This is my stand alone segment for the Yaoi Dream Puppets MEP. In short, it's about an implied love/hate romance between Yuki and Kyou from Fruits Basket. There's not much to tell, really. The video is pretty self-explanatory, and if you want more info, check out the video description.
Hope you guys like it. ^_^

Something's must be wrong with me today, since I've read info here, and on the info page, but understood that it's kind of Yaoi vid only when started to watch it
About the vid : I love Three Days Grace, and I love Fruits Basket,so I've been expecting a lot from it,and I wasn't dissapointed Sync was good enough, and lyric sync is mostly correct, but the best part of it is that this didn't turn out to parody or something
Not a fan of Yaoi, but I liked this piece. Must tell that I disliked how much of song you've cut out,but since it was(is?) for a MEP,then I'll understand you,and won't pick on about the song lenght.
4/5

I'll host a permanent direct link for you if you make me one!
I have to say, it looks pretty good. Same resolution, and the filesize is only a pinch bigger. Lucky for Fruits Basket it really doesn't have a ton of motion or dark scenes, so it's easy to keep nice footage quality in most encodes.
And thanks for the QC you left me. ^_^ Yeah, this isn't yaoi so much as it is "guys looking at each other in somewhat suggestive ways with somewhat suggestive music." XDgodstriker88 wrote:I dunno about Yaoi, but it's been a while since I've seen your videos.
Ill leave some comments.
:O Thanks for takin' interest, love.Senshi wrote:/me gets
And yay first post ^^
Thanks for the comments, and yeah, this was for a MEP that was just released a day or two ago. I was waiting for it to be announced before I released this part. As a side note, though, I'm not sure I could have pulled off the whole song. I barely had enough footage to make a good two minutes.Rapture** wrote:Must tell that I disliked how much of song you've cut out,but since it was(is?) for a MEP,then I'll understand you,and won't pick on about the song lenght.

Oh, I liked that. The song's a favorite, and this pairing needs more screentime. Really good scene choices, especially considering the source. Yuki has the best brooding expressions for this sort of vid. I think my favorite part was when Kyou's on the roof and the wind catches his hair right with the guitar. Drama~
I'll PM you with a perma-link when I get it uploaded. Quality's great. Expect an op for this later. I need to watch it some more. ^.^

Gotta download this one.
EDIT: Not a huge fan of the sync here. It seemed a little akward. The way you beat-synced to the song. It's so hard to give any advices on syncing, but I could try and suggest you to take hold of the main beats better?
I liked your clip selection though. They certainly took hold of the song in a very appropriate manner, even though sometimes I thought the song was too intense for this video.
Nice work

When I laid that scene down, it almost fit on its own. And I was like, "O SHI--! Chance at internal sync! Chance at internal sync!" And it was good. *nod nod*Ari wrote:I think my favorite part was when Kyou's on the roof and the wind catches his hair right with the guitar. Drama~

It is awkward, I'll give you that. I find that I have a weird way of syncing. I follow emphasized words in a phrase more than I do the beats. I think that's what tends to throw people off. Also, though, in this case I just had so little (good) footage to work with that I had a hard time deciding when to make a cut, for the concern that I would then not have a clip I needed later in the video. But I see your points, and thanks for the thoughts.Emong wrote:Not a huge fan of the sync here. It seemed a little akward. The way you beat-synced to the song.
