Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Nightmare known as Broly

Post by -Chicknwings- » Fri Sep 28, 2007 7:21 pm

This is my first AMV that I have made back in May of 2007. It was up on youtube, but I took it down and put it (along with my other AMVs) on my live video and veoh accounts. I will be sure to update on more releases as soon as I can. Anyways, enjoy.

Appended 17 July 2007:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, collect them all in one post. (if you forget one, you can edit your post) It is unfair to those who spend months on making a video if someone makes 10 new announce threads and monopolizes the front page of the Announcement forum.
I suggest you take a good read through the forum rules before posting two AMVs in separate threads.

Hm.. first of all:
The problem is that you can tell it's made in movie maker, next time try to lose the effects, no fade to or from white, and make the sync a little better...(didn't see your latest vid so i can't tell if you already did that)
The second problem is that you should upload it.
So we all can enjoy your vids in better quality, to their full potential.
Other and that it was pretty good for movie maker.

So sorry for the late reply, I was busy with some things. Anyways, I will be sure to follow the rules next. I usualy am not like that to not follow the rules once on a new forum. But anyways, thanks once again for the tips on the amv. I will be sure to use less fades next time on the AMVs in the near future.

Aside from the last 40 seconds being devoted to credits instead of an ending (it definitely seemed like it was going somewhere) and a small warning screen from the program you used, I thought the video was awesome, and in good quality to boot. I noticed another poster mention the obvious use of movie maker, so maybe from a more experienced editor's point of view it was flawed, but I didn't notice. I'm the wrong person to go to for technical advice anyway, as far as the music went and the scenes chosen for each part I thought it worked really well. I really would've liked an ending though...
