Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Very nice work

4/5
Thanks a lot! I think I'm aware of most of the technical flaws in this video, so, you probably did save yourself some time there.

"the most adrenaline-pumping action video I've seen in a really long time." <--The sole reason I made it. I wanted to give people this feeling. I'm glad you liked it!
I dunno, I just couldn't get into it :/
That's quite alright, Kev! I knew a lot of people wouldn't get into this type of video. :) Thanks for taking the time to download it, though. Hopefully you'll enjoy something else I put out in the future.
it was alright, but it got boring once i realized the scene selection was completely linear. also, your aspect ratio is wrong.
try messing around with overlays. this whole thing was straight cuts.
That's cool, not everyone likes this sort of thing and I knew that before making it. Hmm..I -thought- the AR was off, but I was in a hurry to render and get it out, so I think I slipped up there. =\ Oh well, better luck next time, eh?

And I left out overlays on purpose. I wanted to make a simple, yet, action-packed video with only a couple of fade ins/outs. And..it would seem that the consensus is about half and half on what I decided to do. Some love/like it and some think it sucks and some think it's alright. But, that's with every video, right? :)

Thanks for checking it out, guys!

Well this was a good recap of the movie Appleseed.

More or less I can definitely give you a wide load of comments that goes endless. But because this video is a second post on this org, I'll just leave you with the fact that your heading in the right direction in terms of manipulating existing footage.

Great job Rave and I'm hoping to see future works.

If you want an opinion (review) just let me know. Just keep in mind, when I review a video, I critique it professionally, so I'll be saying both the good and bad truthfully. Give me a day or two to give the review also.

Groovy.

The video has 2 main problems:
1. It follows the scenes linear. Not so bad, cuz they fit well with the soundtrack, which brings me to problem no. 2
2. Except for the obvious parts, there wasn't very much sync. The parts where there was sync were very, very good, but for the most time the scenes just rolled.

Video ql could have been better too.

For the sake of original editing style 4/5 ;)
