First I'll get this off my chest. Yes, I thought Hagino was about to kiss Mari. I mean, everyone loves surprise yuri kisses, right?

And unfortunately that didn't happen. Instead,

Overall the first episode definitely led a very leisurely pace since it's mostly about Mari entering to an all-girl school. Hell, a lot of the scenes came from that PV trailer I've posted so I guess I shouldn't have posted it in the first place I guess......hehehe.

Though there were a few interesting tidbits such as

Hmm, I'll still keep my eyes peeled on this. On another note, I heard that the events presented in this anime actually took place a couple years before the manga so I'm expecting some sort of bittersweet tragic moment near the end.

Woah, the anime is out? I really loved the manga for Blue Drop, such as the story/artwork etc, so I am really looking forward to this. Looks like the art style has been modified though.

I think it's good that it's taking place before the manga, as that gives us some insight to how it was like before.

Episode 3 .. hehe . I haven't laughed this hard sense Dita burned the turkey in VanDread:

Noodles/Spaghetti .. General Purpose Flour ( make a volcano opening in the middle of the cone shaped mountain on the table. ) add Eggs in the middle of the volcano and mix into the flour until it has the consistency of Play-Doh. Roll-out thin and cut to desired lengths and widths. Boil in water w/o oil and/or salt until eldente ( transparent ) the serve. [ flavors can be added while mixing or they can be added while soaking in the heated liquid its being served with. ]

T_T there is no-way to possibly screw that up! ...

For Mari, it's very possible! At least she didn't come across a similar incident like pouring milk into a bowl of cereal and have it burst into flames!

Anyways, episode 3 got really interesting as we got more insight on the aliens (yes there are aliens involved)!

Wow! Really rare to see an anime where at episode 3 you still have no real idea what the heck is going on.. Still scratching my head trying to figure out where this one is going.

Now episode 2 I didn't take it as Mari caring about her but as she knows something isn't right about Hagino yet she appears to everyone else as the perfect person. This gets Mari in a boil at Hagino knowing something isn't true about Hagino and weird and strange occurances are happening around her and only she seems to notice. Not only that but after nearly being strangled to death she is made to room with her and I don't know about you but I believe her thoughts are what mine would be.. What she planning to do kill me in my sleep? Or with the weird occurances around her perhaps it's something just as devious that she plans while I am sleeping.

I feel for Mari she is forced to go to a boarding school and than meets what appears to be a psychopath right away. Now this psychopath has attempted to kill her than introduces herself in class as if it's the very first time they have met! Than to make matters worse forces her to be rooming with her! Oh poor Mari!
