VDM installation help!!
Ok, I had VDM installed on my comp for a while now and I went to reinstall it using AMVapp 3.0 and it gave me an error. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it using 3.0 and 2.1, both gave me the same error. It says something about being unable to open the install file to install. Im ready to kill my comp unless I get some help on this.

Frankly speaking, VDub (and it's forks) don't need installing - the AMVapp does, but VDubMod doesn't. All it does is copy the right files to the intended directory that was set up.
Taking the all inclusive package from VDubMod's Sourceforge page and unpacking it to its own directory should work just fine. If you want to replace the main exe in that package with the bugfix (if the bugfix isn't now included instead, that is), then that's fine, but VDubMod isn't an installer-type program, just an unpack-and-run type.
