Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

tried downloading seems that my internet connection got problem with download try fixing it.
EDIT:
ok here it is...
I was suprized when someone gave a 1 star to your video because he said it was awful so what I did was search a similar anime used in an AMV so what i've got is
an AMV through time through space AMV same anime. heres the pic.
heres the other pic taken from through time through space amv
not much difference right ? the copy of the anime is as the same as the one first produced. I think voids vids were judged harshly by giving 1 star.
about the story well I think everyone has its way on interpretation like what kionon said. But its OK for me he made a plot about his AMV and that is how he sees it.

Ok, fine, I did my OWN comparison, using screencaps from my own (much more recent) VoaDS video:
You can NOT honsetly tell me there's no difference. Koop's video is NOT the standard for what "good visual quality" is, ESPECIALLY because that video is over three years old. Now we have the x264 codec as a standard, and why Vo!D chose to encode with the crappy DivX codec is beyond me, but it is indisputable that the quality could be MUCH higher (by the way, these screencaps of my video were from the XviD version, not even the x264 one).
Also, I did NOT give the video one star because of the visual quality. I NEVER judge a video based solely on quality unless it's so bad that I can't even watch it, and this was not the case in Vo!D's video. I gave it one star because I couldn't even sit through the video once - it was boring to me, THAT'S why it received one star.

This was my .avs script:Kionon wrote:What filters did you use, crackers, because Countdown is much fuzzier than your vid
Code: Select all
mpeg2source("1.d2v")
telecide(order=1,guide=1)
decimate(cycle=5,mode=2)
Crop(0,60,-0,-60)
LanczosResize(720,480)
converttoyv12()
deen("a3d",4)
msharpen(threshold=8,strength=100,mask=false)
converttorgb32()
(Also, the Crop() is there because I merged the video with Beyond the Clouds, and to get both their ARs to be fullscreen apparently I had to crop off some of the top and bottom).
