Hahaha, in Episode 2, the Gundam Meisters went to the country formally known as Sri Lanka, and they tried to stop a war that's been raging on since the 1980's! How very amusing!

Needs more Wang Liu Mi hotness! That safari outfit was such a teaser!

I was rewatching Gundam Seed Destiny today, I really doubt that i'll like 00 more :/

I don't believe that any new Gundam series can surpass Seed and Destiny.Maybe the third installation of Seed may do the job,if it ever gets out.

as much as i would like to see a continuation of the Seed universe, there really is nothing else they can add to it without destroying the series or repeating things, (i was disappointed with Destiny coz the last few eps were practically the same as the last few of Seed) though I do wish they'd make a OVA without any conflicts, kinda like that episode when Kira and Lacus go shopping in Destiny, point fan material like that XD and yeah a proper Cagalli x Athrun ending, I mean come on, it can't end with Athrun x Meyrin, anyway http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... hp?id=6565 hopefully this won't get scrapped, but i kinda don't want to watch it coz then you know its over for good =(

anyway we'll see how Gundam 00 goes, Wong seems to be the fanbase girl of the series :/

Meh... I've always thought SEED was better than Destiny and it remains my favourite because it's really what got me into the Gundam fandom even though I did start with watching Wing. However, when I watched the original Gundam series, I also did notice the direct rip off of many of the themes that they had there employed in SEED and Destiny...

I'm not one of those people who will say that the CE Universe sucks because it was just a rip of the original. More that I'll say instead that it brought a brand new generation of fans to like what made the original good, plus the Lacus

That said, Gundam 00 could shape up to be the better than these yet, hopefully because it's stand alone and unpredictable.

Episode 2 seems to have been almost a copy of episode 1 in that they were just rehashing, except in greater detail, what the point of Celestial Being was. The show could at this stage go in many directions, but yeah, we'll see

To be honest, I haven't seen too many Gundam series (I've seen Wing, SEED, and SEED Destiny), but so far Gundam 00 has the potential to be a great series. I'm very interested in seeing what the show's creators are going to do for future episodes.

I think the topic has gone a bit off its original direction.Maybe because Gundam 00 isn't so interesting as previous Gundam series?

Anyway,I'll wait for 5-6 episodes to be released until I get to watch after episode 1.It's no use watching one episode a week when it comes to Gundam series.Lots of episodes per time is tha best.

so far its been too political for me to enjoy so i get a 'meh' impression of it. I think ep5 has some character development in it so we'll see. Just haven't gotten the same awesome feeling as when Athrun and Kira meet each other in ep1 of Seed and Kira gets forced into everything, Seed OWNED from ep1 right until the end of Destiny, the first 4 eps of 00 are pretty bleh =P *runs away from Flame-X*
