Yeah, you can have that segmentSurfsnake wrote:Hi Moonie211,
I'd like to help get this project finished. Could I have Track 12 Seq 01?
I have several animes that I think would work well with this clip.
I'll update the MEP with your info
Thanks for joining in
BTW that Kiki's fire on high video you made is really cool
It was cool the way you done the scenes with the Tv and the way you did the flash backs later on were great.

Re: Beta + Commentary?
Woo! Im glad you went for a more serious theme with that segment. ^_^Kira_Douji wrote:http://www.relicsguild.us/amv/Beta1.mp4

I hoped that who ever claimed that segment made it like that.
My computer was really chocking on this for some reason
but i managed to get though the video pretty smoothly.
The scene selection you choose went very well with the song
And it had good sync and flow.
It looked like a perfect match for the song to me.

Might've been the h264 codec. It worked well on my computer, but I just built it, so it's a beast. I know 264 by default is more processor heavy than other codecs in terms of decoding, but I know x264 is pretty good about that, however this time I trie dthe h264 codec in premiere. *shrug* I'd be giving it to you in XviD format anyway unless you want to dig it out of Graph Edit XP
I'm glad it all worked out well, though. I normally have a beta for these things, but he didn't like the music at all so he was horrible for commentary. --; At any rate, if you like it as is, I'll make sure everything's clean and give you a final copy.

Hey Kira,
I tried to take a peek at your beta (sounds a bit scandalous...) but no luck running the vid. I tried Premier, QuickTime, and the never-fail VLC and they all just raspberried me. Do you have any tricks you could share? If not, that's ok I was just curious how a darker piece would work.
Moonie211,
I'm sorry I did not properly thank you for the nice comments about my Kiki vid. I also enjoyed watching your, "Fly with Kiki" video. It's what inspired me to ask if I could join this project.

How strange. I played it just fine in VLC and KM Player. Premiere hates any intense codecs like that so that's not much of a surprise, and Apple isn't fond of using other people's versions of their stuff, so that's not surprising either. It should have run in VLC, however. I need to freshen it up anyway, though, so let me make a second copy and I'll use a different encode. Maybe it's a h.264 vs x264 difference?
Of course, if you want to see it right now, if you have Graph Edit, you can pull it out.

Here's the XviD, correctly sized, smoothed out second Beta, with some minor adjustments to the pacing of the final scene.
