what's with the girl in the dream. She seemed to have a penchant of turning junk into some sort of metal body. Curse my curiosity. I read the wiki for Clannad, and man, just wait til you find out what all that means, it's mind-bending.

Also, I loved Fuko, her character design was awesome to begin with, I'm glad she has such a um... odd personality

Episode 3! Well, this episode was a bit more comedic than usual which is not a bad thing!

I actually liked most of the comedy in this episode though the dream sequence in the beginning of the episode really intrigued me. Anyone want to take a stab at the parallels of that? I guess it's pretty obvious. And has anyone noticed how ridiculously smooth the animation was during the dream sequence with the girl and her junk robot?

ANN summary actually spoils quite a bit:

Plot Summary: Tomoya Okazaki is a third year student labelled as a delinquent. Everything seems to be unchanging for his school life until he meets Nagisa, and Tomoya finds that his life is about to change. He starts to have dreams of a bleak world and meets a girl who has the ability to fuse junk together in order to create things, and doing so, creates a body out of junk for him. He is then reborn into this empty world and follows around the girl, the only two existences who are "alive."
