Is there a way....

Post by ShatteredFlame » Mon Oct 22, 2007 9:21 pm

to erase subtitles/japanese words/credits, from intros/outros of anime dvds? There is some really good footage I would like to use from some of the intros/outros on my dvds, but the problem is the stupid words/credits/subtitle thingies are in the way. So is there a way to rip the dvds with a way of erasing or taking out these words and stuff?

If they're part of the video stream, then no. Check the extras sections of the DVDs to see if they have "clean" or creditless openers and/or closers; that's a pretty standard extra on animé DVDs released stateside these days.

you can always clean them yourself frame by frame if you can't get clean openings and closings but it will take a lot of time
