Thank you very much guys, I appreciate the feedback and I'm real glad you enjoyed it :)
Ileia wrote:Also, Crackwhore, you might've avoided some comparisons by not mentioning my video at all, by doing that, you immediately draw attention to the similarities that might possibly have been missed otherwise. :P
True, but to be perfectly fair there have only been like, three comparisons so far anyway. So...meh, it's not a big deal :P
Funky-kun wrote:The fact that the different animation styles were mixed during the video bugged me a litte, but it's not a serious problem.
Well, there's no real way to avoid that :/ But glad you enjoyed it anyway
y00anime wrote:4.5/5 it's pretty big...but to me, well worth it.
Yeah, the filesize is big, and I don't know why, or how to make it smaller...but I'm happy you think it's worth it ;)

this is how i rate your video.

take it as you will.
I hate you too, Todd.
(.^_^.) wrote:Wow you really know clear copy like no one else would. Also the video is nicely sync. But there is no meat in it just skin. The "soul" what the music says it not there and not observed and i've seen many well not as clear as yours but has deeper meaning to the song they choose to interpret.

Well like the one you just rated 1 star for voids video but if you would go deeper and understands what the videos message you will see that there is something in it more than just clear copy or fast phased scenes that you are expecting in a video AMV.
???

I only understood about half of that...I agree this video is "just skin", there's not supposed to be a point or story or anything, it's just supposed to be a fun, fast-paced action video that has some cool sync. As for Vo!D's video...that has nothing to do with this thread.
Imrallion wrote:I enjoyed it, realy and sincerely one of the best vid i have ever seen.

Thanks for all Crack, you're realy one of the best amv maker for me.
That was great :)
 Wow, wasn't expecting that...thank you very much Imrallion, I'm glad you enjoy it so much, though I think you're giving me a little too much credit

Also, thanks for the op
Kaxi wrote:This was a very strange and unexpected music selection from you. Maybe i dislike the song too much, but i couldn't get into this video at all. You've made it in one day okay, but it was a little too simple for this song imo. The intro was good btw.
"Strange and unexpected music selection"? Bahahahaha! I like so many different kinds of music (and if you go through my past AMVs, this should be pretty evident) that using something like this shouldn't surprise you. But thanks for watching anyway, sorry you couldn't get into it :(
Vo!D, Rave_Epic, and y00anime wrote:stuff.
If you didn't like my video, Vo!D, that's fine, but I'm prone to agree with Ravey and y00anime here, it almost seems like you're giving me a low score out of spite. But I won't complain, if you feel a 2/5 is fair than that's perfectly fine, I'm happier that you checked it out in the first place ;)
Rave_Epic wrote:For me, action videos don't need a plot. I can't say this one had one, because some of the lyrics were unclear, but either way, it was cool.
Yeah, there was zero plot in this video, I just basically wanted to experiment with synching techniques and see if I could edit action at all.
Rave_Epic wrote:Good visual quality as usual. I've seen a couple of your videos now and you seem to have ripping-footage down pat. :)
Actually, I didn't even really do anything to the footage. I added a deen() filter just to get rid of some of the invisible noise and help with the compression, but that's it.
Rave_Epic wrote:Only thing that I disliked was the last 30 seconds or so. I felt the video was starting to drag at that point, but no biggie.

4/5 Good job, dude.
I definitely agree that the last portion of the video is probably its weakest point...I was honestly almost completely out of footage by then though, so you'll have to forgive me. Thanks for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it :D
CodeChrono wrote:IMO, very few people can turn animatrix into a kick ass AMV.

You did and it was a very nice AMV. Made me slightly depressed, but that was just a sad side effect.

Great wor Crack, twas awesome.
I've seen several good Animatrix videos, but just as many bad ones so I guess I know what you mean. I don't know why it would make you depressed (I seriously considered marking one of this video's genres as "Fun"), but I'm sorry to hear that :( Thanks for watching! ;)

Thanks Rapture! This video has very few effects in it outside of glows and black-and-white filters, so I don't quite know what you're referring to, but thanks for checking it out!

Jesus...

That left me speechless. I'm surprised not a lot of people feel the same way.

I must say, I have to disagree with the genre pick. I don't think this is an action video at all. Or at least the most memorable to me weren't the action sequences. Everything that makes this video good to me is what everyone's complaining about for some reason.
Personally, I feel this video is sentimental in a twisted sense. I know there's a lot of people who are going to disagree with me on that statement. But more or less, this video is very dramatic in portraying the montage of trapped people. The reality of the unreal.

This is a solid theme that Crackerz has portrayed. A theme that I think he's adapted since 'd!gital me.'

I hate the Animatrix, but surely I like this video.

Excellent job Ben. 4.5/5.
The video isn't perfect. But reviews aren't either.

EDIT:

And besides, Infected Mushroom rules. Without them, music wouldn't be as it is now.

Heyyy I liked this. The choruses seemed to be a bit weak compared to the rest of the video (imo), but overall, I think you did a nice job on this. 2:50 - 2:55 was pretty sweet, and yay for internal sync. \o/ Good stuff, Crackerz.

I finally got around to checking this out. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. As far as the music goes, I think you did a good job keeping the mood of the song in your video. Although I don't like all of IM's stuff, especially this song, it works and works nicely IMO. There are parts that seemed to drag a bit, but the pace managed to keep my attention for the duration. I have to say it turned out nicely.
You really are an editing machine aren't you? :amv:
