Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My first AMV
This is my very first AMV. I'm just learning how to use WMM so please, give me any advice you can. Oh, and I apologize for the FF:AC, I'm sure it's already been used to death, but I can't get AMVapp to install right and this was the only anime file I have on my computer.

Advice #1: If you like the sport, get a better program asap.DeshwitatLRudbich wrote: This is my very first AMV. I'm just learning how to use WMM so please, give me any advice you can.
Edit: Seemed very random, I've seen much better firsts.
And you used fansubs. That's a no no.
Exactly what problem are you facing when installing the amvapp?
And are you installing the old version or the new beta version?

Welcome to the Org.
You're in the right place to hone your editing skills if you use the HOW-TO GUIDES and can take the helpful critique with some not so helpful.
That said, I watched your video and agree that video scenes seemed a bit disconnected from the music. Subtitles and lip-flap are rarely acceptable in a well edited AMV (subtitle more so).
Overall, not a bad first AMV – Heck, at least you have a first AMV. I picked one of the forbidden songs for my first.
Again, check-out the guides, take the critiquing for what it’s worth, and have fun.
