That was quite good~ I really, really hate this song though, but it still hit me emotionally like a huge rock. Anything Ayu-related does. I can't imagine myself getting emotional over a death-metal Ayu AMV
The clips were somewhat random but the mood sync was right on. This is a good example of how you should mood sync things. And mind you, I don't mean using teary eyes and dramatic face close-ups. They're there though, but because of some meaning. You'd think cheesy stuff never works but anything goes if used well My complaint is that the video never portrayed anything deeper than that. It's not a character profile, it's not a romance exploration, it's not even chronological. Random emotional eye-candy is cool but it didn't make the video more emotional than that.
The sync was nice. There were a few faster cuts but mostly fades, which I think worked like it should. You had some troubles keeping it in a constant flow but it turned out well overall. No big problems.

It may be simplistic but I'm not used in editing romantic videos
snow --> trapcode particular is the key
I was desperate at that moment. And my small music collection didnt had any good music for it. It was that i heard this song on the radio :p So bring your music to me and make me happy.
it wasnt overused when I started it :pIngow wrote:dude...like...this is not a casting show ;p
nice atmosphere though, I'd probably like this with a different song
Kanon feels overused for this kind of simplistic romance video, but solid editing throughout the video as expected so

I liked editing twisted mind alot moreReigna wrote:Awww cute video. Wasn't a big fan of those synched overlays, but otherwise I thought the video flowed well and kept a consistent mood. I still like Twisted Mind more though.

above-average is good enough for me for a romance videoCrackTheSky wrote:God I hate this song. The video was pretty well-edited, but nothing really jumped out at me. Just another above-average romance video.

I was waiting for someone to give a comment on the music. :pJCD wrote:GAH Next time I see you I will bring you loads of good music (no, not just eurobeat). This has to stop.
Also I don't like Kanon and this video proved for me that I'll never like it.
From a subjective point of view I have to admit it was damn good. Great technical work without losing focus on drama / plot, not just a random slap-together of crying sad girls in snow called drama.

another kanon fan here. I hope that you could finish your amv. The dvds are very lovely. I hope that there's nothing serious with all your stays at the hospitalOjamajo_LimePie wrote:That was lovely. I'm such a big Kanon fan. It's given me another boost of motivation to plug away at my own Kanon AMV that I've been working on for the past 10 months (waiting for the DVDs, finishing M&M, and various hospital stays having impeded my progress. )
Your tears belong to be now muhahahaKalium wrote:Excellent work.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry into my pillow...
Mooh thanks. Those kind of comments I really appreciated. I hope that I won't make the same mistakes in my next amv. But still glad that you liked itEmong wrote:alot of text

I completely missed out to give you feedback for the beta, have been up for loads of time at that moment and weren't able to recall stuff, my apologies.
anyway, now that I've seen the final version I pretty much liked it despite not preferring these kind of videos. good job on the atmosphere, nice cutting etc etc
due to given reasons, not much looping tho 8/10

Well, most people seem to say that you made alot of progress since you edited the last video and it really seems that way. But you have to keep in mind that Drama is way easier to edit than Action, so no wonder that you succeded here. But still, I got to like this video as well and even after betatesting it and thus watching it alot already I still enjoy it quite much. There are only few things left that block the flow out a bit but major parts have a brilliant flow overall. Next time action though with the same amount of atmosphere and feeling like Bonds or this piece.

Nice video, I liked the mood . But there were some places where the video felt kind of weird, mainly at some randomness of some scenes (like the scene from the opening of Kanon where Ayu has wings). I think I can see what you were trying to do there with that scene, but it bugged me a bit because it didn't really seem to fit with the scene after. It was good video overall though, especially the mood =)
