Xvid. And an outdated version of it at that. Technically, the message isn't 'really' there, it's put there by the decoder. Newer versions of Xvid dispensed with the warning in favor of a simple black frame that otherwise operates the same way (meaning that it'll blend in if the real first frames are black also, but the frame is still placed there by the decoder). that screen is only there for one frame, if you move the slider to the right you will see the rest of your video.
either way, didnt you say you had a lossless file?
DivX uses packed bitstream, which doesn't display any such warnings or use substitute frames (using Xvid's Packed Bitstream option replicates this and the resultant files will behave as if encoded by DivX instead).
