I'll be damned.
It's actually all just me.

Keeping all these sock puppet accounts up to date is fierce work.
lmao

I could watch the first 2:00ish of my video Subsonic over and over because I love how it's edited. Besides that, I rarely watch any of my videos, and especially not the older ones.

I only tend to watch my newer ones.. wait.. yeah, it's only the newEST video.

Mostly because I certainly always like the anime / song combination (surprise, surprise) and I always edit it the way that appeals to me. But it's not an "omg! I'm so good at this" type of thing.

I don't like watching my older vids....

As bad as it may sound, I watch my own videos more than I ever watch any other videos. They're my favorites because I edited them to suit my taste. Not so much with my first few videos, but the other 30 or so I always keep on hand in case I get in a mood and want to watch them. Usually after making a new video, I'll watch it 3-4 times a day for about a week.

I used to stop watching my own videos after they were done since I watched them so many times during production.

I've started rewatching them lately... good times. :)

I watch my vids as often as I remember they exist. If I get reminded of a vid, I go watch it, fall in love again, and obsess over it till I get bored and forget it exists.

I'm horribly spoiled - I want the amv to be made for me. Mine are. They appeal to all the things I like in an amv and avoid the things I dislike. It's not an ego thing. I sometimes get the "that's so cool~" reaction, but it's over things no one but me thought was cool when I released the vid. I acknowledge and then dismiss that. I like it, I think it's cool, I'd love if someone else would have done it for me, but since no one did, I'll keep watching my own.

I rarely get the urge to improve on my favorite vids. Instead, I get the urge to do it again. I watch, I love, I think "that was so fun and it's even funner to watch, I want to do it again!" Not to do it better next time, just to recapture the original enjoyment and have twice as much fun watching with two vids in the playlist instead of one.

Some of my old vids I don't like watching because I wish I'd just break down and remake them. I get the embarrassed parent reaction and blush and wish I could remove them from public distribution. But only a few of my vids have that effect on me. Most I'm as happy with now as I was when I finished making them.

I sometimes watch my own videos, but not often since I realised that most of them are crap.

I seem to only rewatch the dance amv I created... Probably cause it was multisource and dance. It's the one I've put the most effort into.

The others are... meh...

Though I found a new age dance song recently 8-) . Still determining a source for it. I can tell allready that it will be rewatchable just cause the song is way to freaking addictive.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I sometimes watch my own videos, but not often since I realised that most of them are crap.
I take that even further: All of my AMVs are crap. Unlike many people here I can't watch even my newest video without "Omg, this sucks" feeling even thought some of them says "That video looks pretty cool". Isn't it just a nasty familiar fact that just a few people can watch they own work without thinking of all mistakes they've made with it?

Still I kinda like to watch my (old) unpublished works because I've put something from myself in them. :> It was really enjoyable to edit them. Those videos have nothing to do with ambition and that also makes them precious.
