Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Not really. I don't think I've ever come across an AMV that started out with non- (or almost-non-) existant sync and went on to become amazing with sync by the end. Basically, I got the feeling that the whole video was going to be the same as the first minute-ish. Honestly though, the main reason I shut it off was that framerate issue I mentioned, which was really off-putting because it kept jumping, and it just visually bothered me.

I'll download the video you recommended and get back to you, but my expectations aren't very high.

Well i did post amvs that i started off at making to, i knew theyd probably get slandered a bit since i was still learning but there is defintely some decent material there. Right >.> :( you didnt even mention how i used the actual animes sounds at the start, and i thought it went well with the lyric of the song (of blinking recollection that is). Please watch all of the historys resoluton one to^^.

I just seen your DMC vid
Man i used to love that song and still kinda do =)
Pretty nice quality and the song fits it.
I seen some parts that synced good and had nice flow with it(2:44 to 2:50 was one of my fav parts.)
but i thought you missed some good parts.
There were some parts I thought should have changed with
the beat of the song more and they ran a lil too long.
Pretty cool and violent video
I'll deffinitly be checking that anime out soon.

Meh. I was decently surprised. It didn't suck horribly, but it wasn't overly impressive either. Gets a 3/5.

If you need help encoding videos in other formats, or help getting better video quality, just shoot me a pm, and I'll guide you. :O

Naruto - Untill the day I die.
No flow, untasteful-weird-unnesecary effects, unoriginal.
It's more easy to count the good parts than the bad parts, really. If there are any.
Well there was an attempt to synch. Untastefully.
2/10

Now there's an idea.
