Can you like download amvs to your iPods?

there are more than a few people that have put amvs on their ipods, but unless you get really lucky you will have to first download them to your computer and then convert them to an ipod friendly size and container/format

this has been discussed a few times in the past (converting amvs to play on ipods) so the search function may help
other than that, google is your friend

that depends on the editor and if they are willing to make ipod friendly formats, most people don't so the easier thing to do is to get a converter and convert them yourself.

I don't know what you think but the most common mistake I think people make when transfering an AMV or what ever they might have is to just transcode it to the relevant format. The best advice you will get on this is to retain the quality, especially if you are hoping for a 480p .mp4 file, and may want to hook your ipod to a TV later on to watch it. This is of course if your video is not already in that format.

ummmm.... just saying don't take someones xvid or wmv and convert it straight over. Uncompress and recompress and enjoy.

Remember, iPods only have a 75mhz processor. You put something too good, even in the right format, and your processor will choke.
