So that's what what happened to Winry's parents. FMA sure doesn't have a dull moment. It seems that all Ed does is go from tragedy to tragedy.

Yeah. One kinda hopes he has a happy ending eventually. (Maybe settle down with Winry, have some kids, teach alchemy.) It'd be nice if Al got a happy ending, too. (How, exactly, I don't know. There really aren't all that many other girls in the story and I'm kinda shipping Ed and Winry.)

Actually, she gets slaughtered by a rampant cow-chimera three or four episodes down the road.
(just kidding, just kidding, haha....)

Glad you're catching up on the series though Lyrs, it just gets better and better as you watch. ^^

But in no way would I refer to her as a cow girl...

But truly,re-reading the FMA manga might help as to understand things better.With only one chapter every month,you lose the track of the story.And reading another 5-6 manga at the same time surely doesn't help!!So Fullmetal hottie,just read other manga to handle the stress(not there is stress involved imo but just impatience).

Brigid,the ending with Winry and Ed together was also a wish for me too but the original ending left me satisfied.A more realistic ending.

in the anime, after Scar had trashed Ed's arm and half of Al's body, they had to go back to Winry for repairs. Al so a girl walking a cow and asked Winry about who the girl was. That would be the cow girl.

Anyway, the manga hasn't ended yet, so there's still the possibility of Ed and Winry ending up together.

It's hard to say, all sorts of crazy shits going on, theres so many important characters popping up that aren't being killed off, so its hard to say what the hells gonna happen.
