kickass! I can look forward to a hundred bucks then, for a whole year, after 27. |:post-it wrote:.. a 3 figure salary is not that uncommon after 27 years old.
AMVs are NOT a free hobbie.

I would now like to state that I am an AMV Abolitionist.
Who's with me? We can go bomb the RIAA.

As Koop was saying, I did do dual monitors for a while after I first got my LCD HDTV. I have since removed the Dell 24" inch though... I have HDMI-out direct from my video card so I'm able to run at 1080P. My dell monitor's native resolution was 1920x1200 so I'm only losing 120 vertical lines but still maintaining the 1920 horizontal res. I also have the TV configured properly. (i.e. no over/under scan or anything else that would offset the picture from my TV's native resolution and thus make it look like ass)Knowname wrote:I still say hdtv monitors are for the rich who have nothing else to spend their money on lol. If I still went with a HDTV monitor I'd go dual monitors, the resolution is much too low for desktop publishing.
I never want to go back.
Windows Clear Type makes the text very crisp and easy to read on this thing even when sitting close. ...and Bioshock, TF2, Crysis, and CoD4... all beautiful at 40" 1080p.
The only bad issue is that I'll probably go blind sitting 4 feet in front of the damn thing. >_>

Hell, I'd go gay to have your boyfriend. |:wurpess wrote:My boyfriend has spent about $2,000-2,500 on my AMVing habit. (Comp, 500gb external, some anime DVDs, like the Gankutsuou box set he's getting me for Christmas. ) He also pays for the internet.
I personally have probably spent about $1,000 or so on source material, blank DVDs for AMV files, etc.
