plug-in for Premiere CS3

Post by Grekon » Wed Nov 21, 2007 1:02 pm

I know I have heard lot of bad comments about Premiere CS3 not working good, but for some reason Pro 2.0 never worked for me(always crashed when tried to go to any menu or so) and Premiere CS3 works for me...

So to the main point... Is there plug-in yet to get avisynth files to work in CS3 because I have had some problems with older version of avisynth plug-in that worked in Pro 2.0(on older computer where Pro 2.0 worked just fine)
I get Premiere to show .avs files as "supported media" but when I try to import them I get error message that avisynth is too which isn't possible since I downloaded newest avisynth after that and tried again with same error :/

the lack of a word right after this part makes your problem unguessable.

looks like the latest version is still 1.9
the help file says that it supports all versions...but I don't remember when cs3 was released

might be worth a shot

hmm... that's odd... I thought I wrote "avisynth is too old and needs to be updated" or something like that... but maybe that was all in my head...

err... sorry for double post I forgot to answer Kariudo's suggestion... It didn't work on that version since I tried that earlier too. Maybe I just need to wait some time before they make update that works with CS3 :( I'm just too used to ripping dvd and putting it to single .avs file and importing to premiere... of course other way would be figuring out why those all menus etc. crash the premiere pro 2.0... but earlier I tried to search all around the internet of that problem there was nobody that had the same problem... Even my friends who couldn't figure out...

Strange isn't it???

maybe that's your problem re-install your AVS (maybe with AmvApp - google for it) and write a new AVS for your files, then try to import it again...
And is your avs premiere plug-in in the right folder?
