Once again a Problem with h264 mp4's

Post by Kevmaster » Sun Nov 25, 2007 2:59 pm

I just re-installed the amvapp because I wanted to check if this might fix an error I had with avisynth (didnt work btw).

Now I wanted to use "Directshowsource()" to convert the mp4 through vdubmod to avi, but it gave this fucking ugly main Concept Logo (like I already menitoned the first time in the First Topic I made.

Back then just installing fddshow fixed the problem. The logo was gone and I could convert the files.

Now when I installed fddshow again, everytime I put the .avs file in vdubmod, the program crashes as soon as I save the file or just go through it.

Before I attempt to solve for x, why are you using an mp4 as source?

You could have just looked at the first topic. I need it for AMV's in h264 mp4 format so I can convert them to avi and then again, to the right format for my Ipod.

This and that should solve your problem

The Converter can Convert the Mp4 (h264, whatever) directly, (but I think you have to use some pr-installed Convert-Profiles or whatever they are named)
and the cccp - I assume you already got it....

I haven't tried that programm but my PSP-Converter from the same company works fine....

I won't install the CCCP shit again, Last time I did, it toally fucked up my codecs and nothing worked anymore.

I'd just like to know how to fix the problem I have right now, rather than finding another way to do it.

:O sorry just trying to help a friend :/

well honestly when I tried directshowsource in an avs with an mp4 it never worked....
So wich programm do you have to convert it to your iPod, maybe if you could update that programm (or get a newer version of it), it might handle x264 by now, just a thought

My only other thought would be CCCP, but if it messes up with your comp that's no option then

It's a sucky little program called "Moviepod". It's just for converting .avi files to .mp4 for ipod..

Mp4's always worked for me with Directshowsource(), But since I re-installed the amvapp, it gives me either this ugly "main concept" logo or Vdub crashes (when I have fddshow installed).

If you wonder about the Logo, its in the top left corner:

Damn, no Edit-button :/

I forget to mention, that this Logo also appears when I play the mp4's with WMP.
