Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Is that at all surprising? I can only think of one MEP ever that didn't have at least some of it's members give all 10 ops and even then I had to check. It's usually either a joke or a lack of maturity, sometimes both at once.

I liked super cute girls more =(

This one, even if it was MEP, felt long and drawn out...I could not hold my attention to it for very long. The videos just seemed out of place to me =/

I really think everyone was expecting too much for this MEP but of course you can't please everyone and Im not saying anything else because Im not one to create drama and have people hate me because of it. I don't want anyone against me for stupid reasons.

Other than that I really loved everyones track and don't have any gripes about it. So again good job everyone! I can't wait for AYU MIX 3, if there is one! I hope so! Deshi?

What? Next to Hell 4, this was one of the most hyped videos, MEP or not, of the year. Why shouldn't our expectations be high?

I think one of the main problems is not only is the audience expecting huge things, but there was a lot of pressure put on the editors to do huge sparkley things as well..

at least that's how I felt about it... and it really ruined the fun for me, I was too busy stressing on "putting out awsumness that everyone would love" to really be able to think much more for my track... then the lack of feed back when I needed it the most became highly frustrating. (though I do appreciate the feedback that I did get thanks to those who did help me out.)

However that said, I appreciate the creativity that people put into their tracks, and I like how different each track is.

Personally, that kind of pressure made this project all the more fun to edit for. I know it forced us (Aerialesque and myself) to stray away from our typical editing styles and try a lot of things that were completely new to us. It pushed us and our editing and we definitely learned a lot from the experience.

As for the project itself, like Nancy said, it had its up and downs, but I thought it was solid overall. I love Batto's track, he put a lot of effort into it, and it shows. Also, collabing is kickass. Really, really kickass.
