Converting .ogm to .avi?

Converting .ogm to .avi?
Im a total noob at this kind of stuff, and i really need to find a program to convert ogm to avi.
This might be the stupidest question ever ( ), but does VirtaulDubMod do that?

yes, vdubmod can do that
1. drag and drop the .ogm file into vdubmod
2. go to file, save as
3. select the codec you want to use (something lossless for editing, like huffyuv or lagarith) by clicking the change button near the bottom
4.???
5.profit
...ok, so those last 2 steps are fake
but you just sit back and watch it go after you hit save

the only problem with it is that it converts to divx or xvid avi...which is not good for editing. (ref: http://www.aquilinestudios.org/DivX_Editing.html)
