Much sympathy, my friend. I too am trying to use my one skill in life to woo a woman. luckily, I know she likes AMV's and my style of making them. I never though of adding a message to one though.......

Now when it gets more serious, make an AMV but put lots of quick flashes with questions and statements in them. Like if you've seen Evangelion you'll know what I mean. That would be great

Wow. Subliminal messages have a lot of implications. And I'm not talking just in this context. To name a few:

"This AMV deserves first place in all cons"
"The creater of this vid is your master for ever and ever"
"You must climb everest with your dog Buffy and his fleas"
"You are a squirrel: you must spend the warm days gathering nuts and storing them somewhere. Then you hybernate for winter"
"Whenever you hear the word "anime" you must sing 'Clementine' until you're taken to the local precinct."

And those are just the tip of the iceberg!
