colors... lots of colors, and if you can see the original anime it isnt filtered enough.

There's not much I'm looking for in an action AMV.
Basically just some good sync (as mentioned already), good timing, good action scenes and maybe some nice effects. If an action AMV happens to have more to it, then that's even better of course.

Seriously, however dumb/sarcastic it might sound, that basically describes it for me.

Does it catch my attention?

Do I have some idea of what's going on, not just random explosions?

And most of all, does it leave me going "HOLY FUCK" or dealing with a vastly accelerated pulse when it's over?

Uhm... action AMV, I'd prefer it to not rely solely upon fight scenes.

Of course, that's not to say have none, but I like it more if they could vary the scenes and focus more on a faster editing pace, rather than just showing 10 people getting beat up.
