Interlacing
Can't remember what to do here. Are their any special preparations I should make before editing with Interlaced DVD ripped .vobs? Should I de-interlace them before I edit with them? Or after I complete the AMV?

You need to index after ripping. Then you can worry about deinterlacing, filtering, etc.
