VDM wont even start. Keeps giving me the error report saying it had an error while trying to open.

Sounds like there is an error in your .avs
Check your script again and try watching the avs, if it works then something with your codecs is messed up, I think

That wouldnt be it. VDM wont even open so I can pul my .avs into it.

Yeah, I got it working but now it wont accept my .avs scripts...

Yeah, I got it working but now it wont accept my .avs scripts...

Just throw the vobs into vdub and render it as huffyuv then...quality is only lessened a little bit

Really? the difference was never that big 2 me O_O still looked a hell of a lot better than torrents so i didn't really care that much.

Of course when I am done ripping my DVD's, my VDM decides to screw up again. I might have to drop if I dont get it working again.

are u sure u encoded ur rips right? VDM doesnt usually screw up unless there's sum gay codec at work

Tried it all. Even using it as a standalone without installing it. Installed it again (didnt work), uninstalled it and tried standalone (didnt work). Vicious cycle...

happened to me before, its a buggy avs plugin, in my case it was the fastlinedarken, just kill the buggy plugin with fire
