I need to rip more DVDs so I can get more footage for a video, but I only have 4.00 gigabytes of hard drive space from the DVD episodes I DID rip. HELP ME GOD....

.. You need the Karioke 2008 .. it sclices, it dices, it shreads any VOB file to the size you need it! .. T_T

.. Space is something we all need more of -- on our computers.

there are a few ways of gaining some extra space on your Hard Drive:
1) Burn DVD's of what you don't need from your hard drive.
2) Buy an Expansion Hard Drive.

.. Video Editing is something most people do when they have "nothing else to do" and they can afford to "buy" that extra Hard Drive ( or they know how to use a DVD Burner correctly. )

.. All other options have Limits to them .. sorry!

I'm sure you can free up space by deleting stuff you don't need... but I don't know the whole situation... so to add:

avoid big files by:
3) making clips with vdub
4) Editing with .VOB's through .avs scripts

I suggest 4 [if you aren't already]
and rip the video without the audio;
but you probably wanna look into that first thing I mentioned...

You're going to need more space than that to edit with. Get a new HDD and clean up your old one (delete things, defrag, etc.). No matter what you do to get around it, your system will hang like crazy if you try to work with that little space.
