Tee hee, confusing klinky there.

The reason is becuase it ends in .cgi

Rename it to and do what I did if it's a win32 server that doesn't allow for mode processing. Or if you're hosted on a *nix system then you could probably ftp in and do a chmod 755. Here's a page on how to do a chmod with ws_ftp : http://www.zachjorgensen.net/za/chmodtutor.html

I meant you shold rename it to .png .gif or .jpg or .jpeg.

PHPBB doesn't allow anything that doesn't have a extension of some sort of image format for the web.

Hmm! well I gave up on the randimg script couldn't get it to work. I will have mine up and going shortly...I decided to write a completely new one myself.

Hmm! it doesn't matter which script or how it is done...It comes up with this.

chmod is a unix/linux command, it will not work on a Windows based webserver. So posisbly your hosting service uses something other then linux/unix.

Is it worth changing over to linux? which is better?
