Uh a zooming thing like effect

I'm EXTREMLY new at this too, and am confused as well, but i'd like to know how to do this...perhaps some screenshots would help?

Hmm... I hate Vegas, but bah, as long as it helps somebody.

Press the Pan/Crop button to get to the Pan/Crop Window.

Image
move the CTI (the liney thingie) to where you want your zoom to start and create a new keyframe.

Image
move the CTI to where you want your zoom to end and crop the footage.

Image
the most important of them all.

I hope it helps.
really, I do, I spent like 10 minutes making it.

Thanks dude but Shinnie04's effect is like it's in its normal position then something zooms in but the original clip is still on its regular position.

Hmm... than it would be great if you could give us a link to that video, wouldn't it?
that way I'll know exactly what kind of effect you're trying to do.
