Premiere doesn't accept h264, nor does avisynth (to my knowledge)

I clip harvested at first cause i wasnt sure how to convert an mkv.. and vegas constantly crashes on me and i run out of memory which fecks up my computer and then i have to reboot.

So then i tried the script method. I used mkvextract to make an h264, so then i got avc2avi to make that h264 into a useable avi, but avc2avi doesnt seem to want to WORK. ARGH. I hate working with batch files, they always tend not want to work.

So i dunno what to do now. I cant get the fake avis and the clips constantly crash my computer. I dont know where to get raws that arent mkvs so..

I also face the same problems with mkvs and h264 files.I wanted to use Gundam Seed footage from KAA which are mkvs,so I used mkvextract to get rid of subs and make h264 files.Then I used avc2avi but the avis that were created weren't accepted by either Vegas or VirtualDubMod.WTF???

Anyway,that's why I'm only using xvid footage(fansubs or raws).

Still,leet-raws have Clannad raws episodes 1-5 in xvid and 704x396.I know this isn't much but you can just wait a bit more for the other 4 episodes...
After all,you have made such a fuss in this thread for your Fuko vid that I don't think anyone will try to make one before you.

If someone does dare to make one, then all you have to do is make him/her watch your latest vid 24hours/day so that he/she'll die a happy death from multiple seizures!!

ps:Fuko will surely get some more footage in Clannad so you'd better wait a bit...

Well, it's still beta, but it's been released. Guh this download is killing me... and it will probably pass my cap too... meaning I might get to play it next month...

BUT I'M HAPPY IT'S OUT.

Also, on an entirely unrelated note, I did a search and someone's submitted a Clannad AMV using the movie footage, but I thought that hadn't been released?

hang on Chii, I use mkv h264 raws all the time, what you do is bring the episode into virtualdub using DirectShowSource then you can recompress it however you want to, for the ef raws I have this meant making a 9gig huffy file for each ep =O MKVExtract kinda fails when anything other than an xvid stream is in the mkv container :/

and you have the avs. Make a fake avi (you know, the vfapi stuff), and import it in Vegas.
It works, it's fast, it's stable, and it isn't space consuming.
