Fake Avis Turn black

Post by Kevmaster » Fri Jan 04, 2008 1:46 pm

The Title pretty much explains it.

The Fake Avi files I created using makeavis simply give me a black image when I import them into Vegas.

Code: Select all

tomsmocomp(0,5,1)
Tweak(sat=1.1)
fastlinedarken(strength=60)
Deen("w2d",3,4,6)
aWarpSharp(16,1,0.6,1)
assumefps(25)
Crop(10,82,-10,-82)
LanczosResize(768,432)
^my script.

Anyone help? :(

I've had same problem over 6 months now. Reinstalling didn't help. :/
Write ConvertToRGB() to the next new line (after LanzosResize) of your script and try again. It may work.

That didn't help either.

The Thing that really buggs me that I didn't have problems with it before, everything worked fine...

and the most annoying thing is that I have 3 unfinished projects in which I used the files and It would be extremly frustrating if I cant get it fixed.

Oh, this happened to me many times before lol... for different reasons :/

-add killaudio() after your source line
-
-Make sure the path to source works [you didn't change any file/directory names?]
-registry may have been altered somehow; try a Windows System Restore back to a point when it worked.
-if you are using a .d2v source, make sure your version of DGIndex is the same as before; an updated version may not be compatible with your old index' [for instance, installing meGUI updates all sorts of video software that isn't back-compatible... and you must revert back to older versions]
-codec configuration may have been altered somehow [like with ffdshow], and needs to be changed back.

your script works for me,
so In short, get your computer back to the same state is was when it worked |:

So I deleted all my .d2v files and re-installed the amvapp, then I used dgindex and made new .d2v files, added the scripts in makeavis and made fake avi files, now when I open vegas and it tells me that it couldnt find the files and I chose the new fake avis as replacements, all of the files appear as offline (and of course, still no image). And when I just try to add one of the fake avis into vegas, it wont even let me do that (just like when I try to add a .mkv or w/e).

This is the whole scipt now:

Code: Select all

mpeg2source("G:\FullDisc\HELLSING 1\AVS files\Hellsing Episode 13 (Part 1).d2v")
killaudio()
tomsmocomp(0,5,1)
Tweak(sat=1.1)
fastlinedarken(strength=60)
Deen("w2d",3,4,6)
aWarpSharp(16,1,0.6,1)
assumefps(25)
Crop(10,82,-10,-82)
LanczosResize(768,432)
converttorgb()
The fake avis play perfectly fine when I add them in Virtualdubmod Btw...

Oh, and another Thing I noticed while installing the amvapp:

Odd Thing is..That I am the Administrator of the Computer :?

I just clicked OK and then it asked me if I want to try again, cancel or ignore..I just hit ignore and continued...

All The Scripting works fine...O.o but I thought maybe this could be the issue?

Back to the time when my Internet wasnt working anymore?

Actually, I don't even know how to do that. My Internet didnt work anymore, so I asked my stepdad to fix it..he used some program (I think it was called Wincleaner) to clean my computer from..uhh..I believe he said unnecessary registry files...I also switched the accounts on my computer and then my net worked fine again..

and Now I'm sitting here with more sh*t...I love my computer ^_^

I just got done working with a system that had several virus/spyware problems that did just that.

Well, I just did a Virus Check a little while ago (found a Trojan horse btw), but since you just mentioned it, I'll do another one and a spyware check as well...

try adding converttoyv12 or ConvertToRGB or such

To my knowledge, this only happens if you moved any of the files in the fakeavi or something, i suggest you delete all your shit and remake your d2vs again, rescript, and remake your fake avis with the same filenames as they were before as to not ruin any amv projects you're working on.
