Odd Thing is..That I am the Administrator of the Computer :?
I just got done working with a system that had several virus/spyware problems that did just that.
Well, I just did a Virus Check a little while ago (found a Trojan horse btw), but since you just mentioned it, I'll do another one and a spyware check as well...
Just as an FYI, i had to format the system because the infection in question attacked the antivirus software, anti-spyware software, etc. and would actually not find infections 1/2 of the time, wouldn't update correctly (even though it claims it was updating fine) and when it finally came to cleaning the infection actually caused Windows to crash before it could be cleaned.

To my knowledge, this only happens if you moved any of the files in the fakeavi or something, i suggest you delete all your shit and remake your d2vs again, rescript, and remake your fake avis with the same filenames as they were before as to not ruin any amv projects you're working on.
I just tried that and it didnt work either.

Re-installing also vegas didnt work just like Zelenia already said (just tried it anyway) and just having the sourceline without the rest of the script didnt work either. I also tried it with switching the account on my computer with the same result: nothing changes....

Back to the time when my Internet wasnt working anymore?
Actually, I don't even know how to do that. My Internet didnt work anymore, so I asked my stepdad to fix it..he used some program (I think it was called Wincleaner) to clean my computer from..uhh..I believe he said unnecessary registry files...I also switched the accounts on my computer and then my net worked fine again..
damn, that presents problems.
per chance if you go to System tools>System Restore from the start menu [winXP],
there may be a restore point to a time when it worked [and hopefully your internetz will still work too]. You can always restore back to present settings. It's a slim chance.

Formated my HD, re-installed Windows, re-installed all my projects...

WTF!? Shit still didnt work X_X

so I kept thinking...what the heck could cause the problem...then I had the idea that fddshow is related to the fake avis..so I searched for another Version of fddshow and after installing everything was fine again....such a small simple thing caused me that many problems xD well, shit happens.

Thanks a lot to everyone who tried to help me =)

yep, the re-installing also fixed all those other small (or big) problems I had, so it was still worth it..and it was a nice clean up of my comp too^^;

Good to hear - I would have felt bad if you formatted and had nothing to show for it.
