R1 World of Narue Scripts?

Post by BasharOfTheAges » Sat Jan 05, 2008 4:25 pm

Anyone have any? I threw something together yesterday and it looks slightly over filtered but the severe rainbowing, noise, dot-crawl, and other issues leave me with little choice. The only standing issues i seem to have are with flat edges that are at angles between horizontal and vertical (i.e. signs drawn in perspective, books, etc.) exhibit almost a flashing with fast pans.

At this point i wanted to confer with someone else that's use the source before to see if i just need to not use those infrequent scenes.

Well, as i've already used this on 2 discs worth of footage, i might as well post it here. Worse comes to worse, i'll have the thing run full tilt for another day to get the 4 discs all exported again.

Code: Select all

SetMTmode(2)
mpeg2source("F:\WorldOFNarueRips\Disc1.d2v", cpu=6)
BiFrost()
DeDot()
SangNom(order=1,aa=48)
AssumeFPS(24)
DeRainbow(5)
deen("w2d",4,3,6)
vmtoon(strength=30)
ConvertToRGB32()
Yes, I know there are 2 drainbowers there, but it seemed to work better with 2 like that than either one individually on a higher setting.

The only issues i'm seeing with this script are the previously mentioned issue and a similar problem that occurs when small brightly colored heavily lined objects are in semi-fast pans. They seem to shimmer.

And i'm re-watching the series so i can focus on clipping (since i haven't watched it for over a year or so) and as far as i can tell, none of the things I've noticed so far are a result of the script - they're things i can see on the DVDs themselves. Even the thick lines that you see when you over filter aren't actually me overfiltering it... they're drawn (or probably more correctly "pu on disc") that way.
