We can't crucify x-rex since he's like the equivalent of Jesus in the Screencaps section....

I can say top editors, highly respected posters are not shy to say they like it. No one opens there mouth about DBZ though, my brother was forced to watch that and he's seen a lot of DBZ which he hates, Naruto as well which he loves so to say it's not the same thing. Overused, over hyped, over rated.. whatever the case, to deny the series of it's greatness deserves a crucifiction. So who's first?

Jesus personally crucifying all the sinners on Earth who say that Naruto is bad is pure irony and lol.

While not directly sad (the subject just said emotional in general) the of the final eps of Giant Robo still manage to get a response for me in a number of parts...in particular:

Daisaku's final run to Robo (in particular the final stretch, when his fallen comrades appear to encourage him)
The final battle that ensues around this (with the gathered IPO forces throwing everything they've got at Big Fire's forces. This is still probably one of the few final battles in anime where I feel safe using the word 'Epic.' The 'winner takes all' feel comes through pretty strongly here.)
and
The epilogue (I won't go into detail for spoiler reasons, but the final epilogue regarding Genya and the follow-up dedication got me choked up the first time I watched it.)

x2

Gunbuster / Diebuster :(

Kanon (2002) - the end of this one was far more emotional than 2006

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time - I get that feeling in the back of my throat towards the end
