As of 1.7.6 it also includes support for input plugins, which means *certain* file formats can be added to its import list. Currently, that list consists of WMV, MPEG-2, FLV, and a Quicktime-based MOV importer - so it's not quite the same supports you'd get in VDubMod, but it'll probably get there sooner or later (and surpass it).
I'll try to check out the plugins available and see if they'd cover my needs, thanks! :)

Did you get the VDubMod 2542 bugfix executable also? Here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=395413

Part of the reason for the lack of response might be that the VirtualDubMod section of the forum is further down. It might've helped to put the thread there (although I would have thought it'd get moved there by now). On the other hand, it could also be due to all the holidays recently.

The plugin thread is here. Unfortunately, there's no definitive listing of all the input filters that I know of, so you'll have to just flip through all those pages and find them in there (although for the newest version of the MPEG-2 and WMV plugins, just check fccHandler's site).

Ultimately, though, anything that can be opened in AviSynth can be opened in VDub, since VDub and VDubMod both support AviSynth scripts (not to mention it gives you more control overall to use AviSynth).

Thanks a bunch :) The fix didn't change anything, but the post had the MPEG2 among others. Although it doesn't support multiple audios or video-clips.

I'll get to work I guess :P
