Probably just rumors. No official statements have been slated.
This is the latest I could find myself.

Does anyone know how soon we can expect the first fansubbed camrip to show up?
And does this mean that the remastered boxset in the clear red plastic box will soon be obsolete?

When making Transformers, Mikey took a godawful script and did a reasonable job of de-suckifying it, even though such a task was comparable to treating a compound multiple fracture when all you have are some band-aids and aspirin. Granted, he was also responsible for turning the TFs themselves into walking piles of shit (since when has Optimus Prime had flames?!?), but seriously, would you prefer a film by Paul Anderson or Uwe Boll? Or perhaps one by George Lucas, featuring a computer-generated Pen-Pen?LeeKitten wrote:I can only imagine it now. When the official trailer of the finished Live Action Eva movie comes out, after the title it says:
"A Michael Bay Film".

Is that one of the Mythbusters guys Photoshopped into a Half-Life suit?
Anyway, I'd think that a few days before a movie is taken out of theaters in preparation for home releases, the security would have loosened up enough to make camripping possible. Or you could sneak one of those penny-sized CIA cameras into the theater.

I think there's a big cultural stigma against it. Of course that wouldn't stop any foreigners daring enough to risk deportation.

Apparently those ninja security guys like hurting people's legs.Coffee 54 wrote:Hardcore and hard to find. My 'hunt for Eva' while in Tokyo turned into a bit of a bust. My friend hurt his leg and didn't even want to see Eva, and dokool hurt his leg and couldn't help me find Eva. I have a hard enough time tracking down movies in limited release here, in a country where large cineplexes abound. Oh well, I'll catch it sooner or later...

I've seen a bootleg of the Eva Movie just yesterday. Not gonna spoil much but I felt like Gainax did A George Lucas on this one.
But from what I've seen on the next synopsis of Episode 2. The New Eva Pilot Character, will probably make the biggest difference from the series with a new spin.
Was It Good?
Maybe, if your a new fan, Hell yea take a look at it
If you were an old fan, It's the same hair but new hair dew. Some New Clips here and there.
P.S: Rei's Smile...that is all.
