Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Including waiting for movies O:
This video has been a colossal two years in the making. From getting the idea for it to its beginnings, to its inevitable completion, it's been a while. I wanted to wait until plenty of Diamond and Pearl was out (at least one of the movies) so that I could have Pokemon from all four generations included.

Yeah... Mostly because I wanted to wait to get a bit of 4th generation footage in there, since it was on its way. I worked on it a bit here, a bit there. This thing's my baby. :)

Anyway, I've been trying to think of a non-Pokemon song that would make a good Pokemon tribute video, but nothing's coming to me. I guess, like my Cartoon Heroes video. originality just isn't this video's strong suit.

Ah well. They can't all be Slayers Cabaret.

Well, I guess this goes back to the whole "you can't please everyone" thing, doesn't it? I love swelling orchestras, corny lyrics, choirs and big musical numbers. I'm cheesy like that. XD

I'm quite sure a lot of us have "guilty pleasure" videos that really aren't terribly great (though I do still think the Pokemon one is pretty damn great by my personal tastes), that we love anyway. "Perio's Plea" is my guilty pleasure video. The editing isn't great, video quality is poor, lip sync sucks on it, but it just makes me giggle.

These are the kind of comments that are the opposite of constructive. :|
