Disturbing story

What that reminded me of. I used to be a receptionist at a Pediatric doctor's office. Well, one day, we got a call from a mother saying she wanted to talk to a doctor because her son had a fever. She said it was 101 and she took his temperature rectally (usually recommended for infants.) So, whoever took the call got the kid's name and asked his age. The mother said 15. "15 months?" they asked. "No, 15 years," the mother replied. Who the fuck takes a 15 year old kid's temperature rectally? And what 15 year old kid would let them? O.o
