ok my brother has a tv capture card which he says he doesnt use anymore and i can have it if i want. i have 2 questions about them
firstly when capturing game footage, do you have to 'live capture' it (eg be at that point of the game, so you can just record it) or is it teh same as ripping where you can just choose what you want.
the second one, is can i use the capture card to record stuff from PC games and not just for recording stuff off a TV?

It's a device used to capture video from an external source...
