Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

If you want to improve, read the guides. It's simple as thatso please tell me what's wrong in it, so I can improve
All in all, I think I got it^^ The people in the anime wanted to jump! xD
Did I guess right?
Some tips from me: Try not to show the divX logo or other watermarks in your next AMV. They are simply put just annoying! I would recommend working with a lossless video codec in your next AMV. That will fill up your hard drive, but it's for the sake of your next vid!!

Thanks, I'll try to find a codec that doesn't leave a logo.Nunchuck wrote: Some tips from me: Try not to show the DivX logo or other watermarks in your next AMV. They are simply put just annoying! I couldn't see anything wrong with that. Download the amvapp pack: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... mvapp.html
For lots of handy utilities and codecs. I don't think I could've mustered the enthusiasm to even try butchering some anime if these hadn't been handily collected into a nice little package.
I really liked your video, especially the bit at 2:14, the mood was really smart. I'm not too hot assessing technical quality or anything, but that 'felt' as good as most anything else I've seen, even if it wasn't 'edge of seat' exciting, it was definitely involving.
Above all else, nothing at any point seemed 'off' or out of place, which I suspect means you made good decisions on where and how to edit.
I'll be keeping this one, but mainly to remind me to keep my shotgun handy in case I ever meet a japanese person. Dear god, they're insane, I mean a series about what, trapeze artists?

Believe me, they are worse things than that. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it.

*MEH GETS also*
:O
EDIT:
Ok, this video actually only had a few flaws. I was actually quite impressed with it.
Technically Speaking: The video quality was horrible. The new "industry standard" is either x264 or XVid with a MP4 or AVI container respectivly. The guides help these out pretty well. If you need help with any of that, just drop me a pm. Also, the DivX logo was a big turnoff.
Conceptually Speaking: Nice take on Kaleido Star. Simple Plan is a tad overdone, IMO, but it was nice to have a non-action video SP video. Had a nice story and had some nice flow to it too.
Editing Speaking: Bleh. The editing was nice for WMM (I'm assuming). The cuts and beat sync were nicely timed and nicely editied together. However, there is always room for improvement in this area.
Reviewablity: I probably won't watch this video very often, for various reasons, but it was still a really nice AMV.
I'm putting this in a opinion for your video, but my personal ranking is: 3.0/5.0

Next time I'll use Adobe Premiere, and the format will be AVI. Also, next time I won't use something that leave a logo, so this won't be a problem.

Thanks. Glad you like it, and work even harder for my next one.BlackChaos626 wrote:I really love it! I've seen it on boochsack and I downloaded it. I don't find that logo a problem. It has no subs, and the mood it fits! I'm impressed!!! I mean, it's very cool FOR your first one. But you have to do better on your second.
