Has this happend to anyone else?

Post by Cramblit » Mon Jan 21, 2008 11:35 am

ok so i've put my movies up for everyone to see. They were getting ranked 5-4 stars... then overnight they drop to 2-3 stars? all but 1 got down ranked by up to 3 stars. Which means to average that somebody had to have ranked all my movies 1 star to get the average to go from 4 to 2.. I know i'm new but everyone i've ever talked to whether friends, or people I dont know thought my movies were really good for a beginner... So i'm just wondering if this has happend to anyone else? or If my movies do indeed suck... >.<

Considering the most star ratings you've gotten on any single video is three, I'd say you just got lucky with your first viewer.

Most star ratings? you mean highest? if you mean highest 5 was my highest, if you mean most overall it'd be 4, I had 1 5 star, and all the rest were ranked at 4 except 1 that was un ranked. I come back to find they all dropped to 2-3? and then the un ranked was my highest? I mean that just doesnt seem right to me...

i think you're better off getting direct feedback from the viewers then stars and op scores.

No. Most. Your star rating is an average. The more people leave a star rating, the more averaged (and meaningful) it becomes. I wouldn't trust anything less than 400 or so.
