Shes a defensive type, yet shes still that strong in attacking, and is better than clair at reading Youma energy, she won't go down that easily. And she can grow back that arm. Lets not forget Miata is unstable also, something may happen to totally flip her out, or send her rampaging after the awakened being. She does seem to have some kinda deep hatred for them. Theres also still the possibility that clair and company could show up. Theres too many uncertainties to jump to conclusions just yet ;p

And above all, I think shes just too cool to kill off so quick after her power up.

I never said that Galatea would die.I just pointed that seeing it in a logical way,her deathwouldn't help the story.
And I'm also no worrying about Clarice or Miata.All three will live,for sure.
Simply,Galatea will kick Miata's ass.I don't even speak about Clarice,she doesn't stand a chance.

do want a season 2.

I debated on picking up the manga, but resisted...too much other stuff on my plate atm. I enjoyed the show quite a bit, despite the ending, I just hope they'll do it justice with a 2nd season. I kept expecting Clair to go over 9000. WAY over 9000. she managed like 7650.

Anyway. I would love to see a second season of this as well.

I don't really have the hots for mangas in general, but after reading a bit about the whole universe on Wikipedia I'm seriously considering to buy the Claymore Mangas.

Besides this, I have a feeling that the Anime disgraces the Manga regarding the story-line although I really love the animation and effects used in the anime.

Most of the anime does justice for the manga. Again, the main sticking points are the ending episodes.

Manga is better. I would of liked the Anime if Raki wasn't there. He's a very un-needed character in my opinion.

Claymore ending was like watching pokemon fighting, i don't have anything against pokemon but pokemon is pokemon and claymore is claymore

For me episodes 25 - 26 are deleted files from my brain i hope they are going to release a second season when more manga are available but claymore manga started at 2001 and they needed 6 years to release the first season...

If Claymore gets a second season, it's going to have to be original. They went so far away from the manga during the last 6 or so episodes that they can't possibly use the manga material without confusing everyone.
